Beginners’ Spinning on a Wheel

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Throughout the afternoon you will be able to have a go at spinning on an Ashford Traditional, Traveller and E-Spinner spinning wheels. Jen will guide you through the basics of drafting fibre, feeding it into the wheel and you will be able to try different fibres. You will learn the basics of threading the spinning wheel ready for spinning and basic maintenance.
All materials and equipment provided, along with tea, coffee and biscuits.
