Spinners’ Improvers (Bring your own wheel)

In this evening workshop we will have a look and a go at different methods of plying yarn, Andean plying and Navajo plying. We will also be looking at how to create yarn with more texture in such as slub yarn and core spun yarn. There will be opportunities to try out different fibres and have a look at how we can change our spinning methods to suit the fibres. Jen will help guide you to read your finish piece of yarn to see where improvements can be made.
This workshop is suitable for people who have attended our beginners’ spinning workshop and know how to spin using a wheel already. Please bring your own spinning wheel with you.
